Fuel is another major expense. We are constantly arranging our truck routes to pick up multiple loads on the same run in the same geographical areas and then disposing at one time. This saves huge amounts in fuel and we pass these savings on as well.
Another area we monitor very closely is our advertising expenses. Word of mouth is our best source. Secondly, we advertise on Craigslist which is free. Thirdly, we advertise in two local Northern Virginia newspapers for a nominal fee per month. In addition we are members of Angieslist which also is free to the provider of services.
